Daniel Franklin Gillespie
May 16, 1930 — April 3, 2008
Daniel Franklin Gillespie, 77, resident of White Oak Manor, Newberry, SC and formerly of Abbeville, SC passed away Thursday April 3, 2008 at White Oak Manor.
Born in Whitmire, SC he was a son of the late John Gregg and Gertrude Miller Gillespie.
He was a retired resident of White Oak Manor in Newberry, SC and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sister-Ruby Stewart of Mt. Pleasant, SC; a brother John David Gillespie of Greenville, SC.
He was preceded in death by 3 brothers Neigel, Kenneth and Marion Gillespie; and 1 sister, Kathleen "Kate" Lewis.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday April 5, 2008 at 2:00 PM in Long Cane Cemetery with the Rev. Marion Argo officiating.
Mr. Gillespie is at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home.
The family is at their respective homes.
Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
