Cynthia Lou Simpson Thomson

Cynthia Lou Simpson Thomson, 82, resident of 104 Oakland Ave., died Friday, November 16, 2007 at Hospice House of the Piedmont in Greenwood, SC.

Born in Abbeville Co., SC, she was the daughter of the late Gerdie and Nettie Fisher Simpson.

Survivors include her daughter Mary Jane Ramey and her husband, Albert, of Abbeville, SC; sons, Daryl Thomson and his wife, Kity, of Woodstock, GA; Rusty Thomson and his wife, Sandra, of Snellville, GA; sister, Prudence S. Williams of Abbeville, SC; 7 grandchildren, Ashley, Aaron, and Leigh Ramey; DK Thomson, Jr. and Tara T. Scott; Katherine and Lindsey Thomson; and 3 great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Rayanne Thomson and Joseph Scott.

Ms. Thomson was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters; Ansel Simpson, Reba Lowe, Jessie Lowe, Willie "Bill" Prince, Derrell Caldwell, Evelyn Simpson, Grady Simpson, Leslie Simpson, Dewey "Hobb" Simpson, Presley Simpson, Daniel "Dan" Simpson and David "Tag" Simpson.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice House of the Piedmont 408 West Alexander Ave. Greenwood, SC 29646.
