Codi Lynne Crawford

Codi Lynne Crawford, 34, of Abbeville, passed away March 10, 2026, as the result of a tragic automobile accident. She was born in Greenwood, SC to Jane Baughman Gable and Carrol Glenn Crawford.

A proud graduate of Dixie High School, Codi pursued her passion for caring for others by earning a degree in nursing from Piedmont Technical College. She was a dedicated member of the nursing profession for many years, currently as a team member at the Greenwood Regional Rehabilitation Hospital. Codi touched the lives of many with her warmth and compassion.

Beyond her nursing career, she cherished spending time with her family and developed meaningful memories throughout her life. Codi’s love for horses was apparent in the joys she experienced while trail riding and roping. She also enjoyed attending competition coon hunting events alongside her dad and brother and attending concerts with her friends.

Codi lived her life with love, kindness and an unwavering commitment to helping others. The memories and love she shared will continue to light the way for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Harold and Jennifer Crawford; her maternal grandparents, Jack and Frances Baughman; and her step-father, James E. ‘Jimmy’ Gable.

Codi is survived by her mother, Jane Gable; father, Glenn Crawford (Jennifer); siblings, Tyler Crawford (Keri), Mark Crawford (Kelly) and Carrol Crawford, Jr., all of Abbeville; step-brother, Jim Gable (Kelly) of Tuscaloosa, AL; step-sister, Tracy Sullivan (John) of McCormick; five special nephews; and her beloved friend Cory.

The family will receive friends 1:00PM – 2:00PM, Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home, 302 N. Main Street, Abbeville, SC. Funeral services will begin at 2:30PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jared Dixon officiating.

Memorial contributions, in memory of Codi, may be sent to the Big Oaks Rescue Farm, 809 Townsend Road E., Hodges, SC 29653.
