Chris Hall, 69, of Abbeville, died Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at the Hospice House in Greenwood. He was born in Abbeville to the late James Bruce Hall, Jr. and Doris Sternenberg Hall.
A 1970 graduate of Abbeville High School, Chris attended the University of South Carolina and graduated from the University Of Hamburg, Germany. He was formerly employed as a nuclear engineer. Chris enjoyed reading and caring for his cats, especially his beloved companion, Brandy. He worshipped at Trinity Episcopal Church.
In addition to his parents, Chris was preceded in death by a brother, James Bruce Hall, III.
He is survived by his brother, Mark Hall and his wife, Mary Alice of Abbeville and two sisters, Trudy Crittendon and her husband, Jim of Anderson and Judy Metzler and her husband, Russ of Indianapolis, IN.
All services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions in memory of Chris be sent to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont, 408 W. Alexander Ave., Greenwood, SC 29646.
