Charlotte "Pace" Seiger

August 17, 1938 — December 27, 2018

Charlotte Pace Seiger, 80, wife of Charles M. ‘Chuck’ Seiger, of the Savannah Lakes Village, SC, entered into her eternal home and met her Lord Jesus on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Hospice House in Greenwood. She was born in Florence, AL to the late Owen Severe Pace and Pauline Wilmarth Pace.

Charlotte was employed as manager of a real estate office in Blacksburg, VA and retired from that position. She was lovingly devoted to her husband, family and friends. This love was returned to her by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Charlotte enjoyed various hobbies. She was an accomplished decorator; her home was a tasteful example of her appreciation of wallpaper. Consignment shopping resulted in many treasures. Often, hours were spent reading, the Bible was her favorite book. Charlotte was an extensive traveler. She delighted in her cruises to the Mediterranean and Caribbean; however, her happiest travel was to visit her girls. Charlotte was dedicated to her faith, loved the Lord and enthusiastically shared Him with others. An active member of the Christian Women’s Club, she was affiliated with Stonecroft Ministries. While living in Hilton Head, Charlotte established a branch for that area. She was a member of McCormick First Baptist Church

Charlotte is survived by her husband of 37 years, Chuck, of the home; three daughters, Cynthia Floyd (Randy) of Statesville, NC, Lori Martinez (Carlos) of Harrison, TN and Renee Kersey (Curt) of Canton, GA; a step-daughter, Charlene Barrett (Randy) of Burlington, NC; two brothers, Bob Pace (Marie) of Birmingham, AL and Phillip Pace (Kathy) of Asheville, NC; and eight grandchildren, Brittany Barrett, Amanda Barrett, Randy Floyd, Jr., Christopher Martinez, Matthew Martinez, Zach Ritterling, Freya Ritterling and Addie Ritterling.

The family will receive friends 1:00PM – 2:00PM, Saturday, January 5, 2019 at McCormick First Baptist Church. A Living Testimony and Service of Thanksgiving will follow at 2:00PM in the church sanctuary with the Rev. Michael Allen officiating. Burial will be in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Russellville, AL at a later date.
