Catherine Jean Hall Graham

Catherine Jean Hall Graham, 81, of Abbeville, wife of the late Wesley Graham, died Sunday, April 13, 2025, at her home. She was born in Abbeville to the late Carl Eugene Hall and Lillian Catherine (NannyMama) McDowell Hall.

Throughout her career, Catherine was known for her nurturing spirit and selfless dedication as a caregiver. Deeply committed to her faith, she played an active role in her church (Abbeville Church of God), where she found community and purpose. Catherine had a passion for the outdoors, particularly enjoying trips to the mountains. Her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to experience her kindness and warmth. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will be cherished by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Georgia Hall Ashley.

Catherine is survived by her two sons, Carl Eugene ‘Cooter’ Hall (Carolyn) and Daniel Wesley Graham (Leslie); her sister, Sammie Ella Busby all of Abbeville; five grandchildren, Billy (Adreanna), Nathan, Brody, Mavis Reeves and Annie Kay; three great-grandsons, Jase, Waylon and Walker; and her beloved pet, ‘Baby’.

A celebration of Catherine’s life will be 4:00PM, Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home, Abbeville Chapel with Rev. Scotty Sherfield officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

The family extends their sincere appreciation to Porsha, Charlotte and Elaine for the love and care they gave Catherine.
