Carolyn Potter Campbell

Carolyn Potter Campbell, 79, of Calhoun Falls, died Thursday, January 29, 2026, at her home. She was born in Abbeville to the late Sam and Cora Mae Saxon Potter.

Carolyn was a 1964 graduate of Calhoun Falls High School. Throughout her career, she distinguished herself as talented florist, bringing joy and beauty to countless occasions with her beautiful arrangements. She found great pleasure working in her yard and gardening. Carolyn cherished moments outdoors nurturing her plants and flowers, creating a space filled with color, fragrance and life. She was a member of Solid Rock Community Church.

Surviving Carolyn are her two children, Stephen (Janelle) Campbell of California and Laura (Tommy) Hampton of Dewey Rose, GA; two sisters, Peggy (Keith) Richey and Judy White all of Calhoun Falls; four grandchildren, Matthew Campbell, Samuel Hampton, Isaac Hampton and Sarah Beth (Frank) Mendoza; a great-granddaughter, Winnie Mendoza; and the father of her children, Leroy Campbell of Calhoun Falls.
