Brian Fulmer, 54, of Abbeville, died Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Hospice House in Greenwood. He was born September 22, 1971, to James William ‘Bill’ Fulmer and Mary Elizabeth ‘Beth’ Treaster.
A proud graduate of Harlem High School, Class of 1989, Brian furthered his education at Augusta College, where he completed his studies in 1995 receiving a BA in History. He lived a life full of passion and enthusiasm. He was an avid trivia aficionado, often engaging friends and family in friendly competitions, where his quick wit and vast knowledge left many in awe. His love for trivia was matched only by his fervent support for the Georgia Bulldogs, a team he followed with unwavering dedication. He also loved playing disc golf. Brian worshipped at Main Street Methodist Church.
He is survived by his father, Bill, of Laurel, MD; mother, Beth (Fred N. Treaster) of Abbeville, SC; a brother, Brandon Fulmer (Shari) of Abbeville, SC and their daughter, Josie Beth Fulmer whom he adored; other siblings, Fred A. Treaster of McSherrystown, PA, Jeff Treaster of Fayetteville, NC and Brenda Treaster Bottiglia (John) of Hummelstown, PA; and an uncle, Kenny Brown (Barb) of Johnston, SC.
The family will receive friends from 11:00AM to 12:00 Noon on Monday, December 29, 2025 in Main Street Methodist Church. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Brandon Fulmer and Rev. Stan Colbert officiating. Burial will follow in Long Cane Cemetery.
Memorial contributions, in memory of Brian, may be sent to Main Street Methodist Church, 300 N. Main Street, Abbeville, SC 29620 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
