Bonnie G. "Shiflet" Brewer

Bonnie Shiflet Brewer, 73, of Abbeville died Thursday, February 6, 2020 at her home. She was born in Calhoun Falls to the late Jessie Clayton Shiflet and Mae Isabell Gilliam Shiflet.

Bonnie attended Calhoun Falls High School. She was employed with the Abbeville Shirt Plant and later Flexible Technologies. Bonnie was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Calhoun Falls.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Alan Cofer.

Bonnie is survived by a son, Tim Brown (Dawn), of Abbeville; four daughters, Susan Mundy (Hugh) of Abbeville, Neada Collins (Gary) of Abbeville, Shelly Scott of Calhoun Falls and Cheryl Ashley (Trigger Holley) of Abbeville; two sisters, Jerry Anne Cofer of Jefferson, GA and Susan Fortin (Greg) of Lexington, TN; twelve grandchildren, Ashlee, Brittney, Caylee ‘Bug’, Casey, Tyler, Krystal, Matt, Ryleigh, Jessie, Bella, Jacob and Brant; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 2:30PM – 3:30PM, Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Harris Funeral Home in Abbeville. A service to celebrate Bonnie’s life will follow at 3:30PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Motes officiating.
