'Barry Z' Wayne Zion

Barry Wayne ‘Barry Z’ Zion, 69, of Abbeville, died Saturday, November 23, 2019 at his home. He was born in Roanoke, VA to the late Charles W. and Dorothy Grey Zion.
Barry owned and operated a construction company and was self-employed as a contractor for many years. As a school bus driver in Greenville and a tour bus driver around the Grand Canyon, he enjoyed meeting new people. In the last couple years, Barry was able to demonstrate his technological skills and in 2018, developed BarryZ TV. He worshipped at Troy United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, Barry was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Zion.
He is survived by his companion, JoAnn Langley, of the home; a daughter, Kayla Star, of Greenville; and four grandchildren.
