Avery Williams, 15, of Calhoun Falls went to Heaven, October 29, 2023, leaving behind an extensive list of mourners. He was born July 22, 2008, in Anderson the son of Brandi Anderson and Kwam Williams.
Avery grew up in Calhoun Falls, and attended Calhoun Falls Charter School where he was an honor student, basketball player, and a member of the FFA. He enjoyed riding his dirt bike and four wheelers, hanging out with his many friends who loved him dearly, fishing, music, trying new recipes, swimming, and working on his many mechanical projects.
Avery was also a talented artist who brought life to his drawings. Not only did he bring life to his drawings, but to us all, especially when he walked into a room. He had a larger-than-life personality and was handsome with a beautiful smile, kindhearted, gentle, strong, giving, humble, honest, trustworthy, respectful, witty, creative, intelligent, brilliant, a good listener and funny. Avery was a member of the Calhoun Falls Pentecostal Holiness church where he enjoyed attending on Sundays.
He was shy until he got to know you and then, his big, beautiful personality shined. Avery was a pure joy to this world. He gave his best to everyone and shined a light so big in this world that he made an impact in his 15 years, that will never be forgotten.
Avery is survived by his mother, Brandi Anderson; his father Kwam Williams; his little sister, Amelia Williams and an extensive family from South Carolina and Georgia – cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, great-grandmother and many who loved him as their own son. He was like a brother to his local cousins and many of his friends said they not only lost a friend, but a brother, as well including his cousins Carter and Cori.
The family will receive friends from 5:00PM – 7:00PM, Wednesday, November 1, 2023, in Calhoun Falls Pentecostal Holiness Church. Funeral services for Avery will be 2:00PM, Friday, November 3, 2023, in Calhoun Falls Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
