Austin James "Aj" Callaway

Austin James ‘AJ’ Callaway, 24, of Abbeville, died Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at his home.  He was born in Greenwood to Eric N. Callaway and Amy Elaine Wood.

AJ was a 2012 graduate of T.L. Hanna High School in Anderson.

He is survived by his dad, Eric, and step-mother, Laura, of Abbeville; his mother, Amy, of Elgin; three brothers, Blake Callaway and Travis Callaway of Abbeville and Dylan Alexander of Elgin; a sister, Taylor Schmelter of Abbeville; and his grandmother, Louise Fain, of Abbeville.

The family will receive friends 3:00PM – 4:00PM, Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Harris Funeral Home, Abbeville Chapel.  A service to celebrate AJ’s life will begin at 4:00PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Harrell officiating.
