Annie Scott (Morrow)

Annie M. Scott, 90, of Elberton, GA, wife of the late James A. Scott, died Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Pruitt Health Spring Valley Nursing Home in Elberton, GA. She was born in Calhoun Falls, SC to the late Theopolis Decatur Morrow and Ruth Shiflet Morrow.

A dedicated homemaker, she enjoyed gardening, cooking and appreciated the beauty of flowers. Mrs. Scott also was fond of all animals. She held her family close to her heart. Time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was precious to her.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, James A. Scott, Jr. and Edward Allen Scott; a brother, James D. Morrow; and a sister, Leona Davis.

Mrs. Scott is survived by a brother, Thomas Eugene Morrow of McCormick County, SC; two sisters, Sue Wallace and Delma Jones, both of Elberton, GA; a daughter-in-law, Susan Scott; four grandchildren, Bob Scott (Tish), Daniel Scott (Justin), Ken Scott and Holly Atkinson; ten great-grandchildren, Makala, Morgan, Chloe, Courtney, Abby, Claire, Kasen, Jaxson, Bryce and Brenley; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 11:00AM, Saturday, March 5, 2022, in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 2699 Highway 72 W, Abbeville, SC 29620 with Rev. Stan Colbert officiating.
