Annie Belle Poole Mitchell

Annie Belle Poole Mitchell, 101, resident of Abbeville Nursing Home, formerly of Abbeville Arms Apartments, died Monday, May 12, 2003, at the nursing home.

Born in Greenville, she was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.

Surviving are daughter, Shirley Turner of Abbeville; son, Henry Mitchell of Abbeville; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was the daughter of Eugene and Ida Poole.

Services are at 3 p.m. Wednesday at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home by the Rev. James Blackwell; burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The family will be at the home of her daughter, Shirley Turner, 880 Campfield Church Road, Abbeville.
