Ann Link Davis

Ann Link Davis, 96, of Abbeville, SC, wife of the late Marvin Thomas Davis, died Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the Lakelands Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Abbeville, SC to the late Martin Luther Link and Pauline Harrison Link.

A proud graduate of Abbeville High School, Class of 1946, Ann furthered her education at Piedmont Technical College. For 25 years, she served as a lab technician at the Abbeville Milliken Plant. Following her career in the textile industry, she worked at Sammy Lewis Tire Market in Sales and Service for many years.

Ann lived a life characterized by dedication, service and community involvement, touching the lives of many who were fortunate enough to know her. She was a devoted member of South Side Baptist Church and the Friendship Sunday School class. A woman of principle and leadership, Ann served as Past President of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and held the position of past treasurer and lifetime member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. These roles highlight her commitment to supporting veterans and service members, as well as her deep sense of faith and fellowship to others.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Claude W. Link, Robert Luther Link, John Harrison ‘Harry’ Link, Samuel Davis Link, Francis Clyde Link and Thomas ‘Tom’ Clark Link.

Ann is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by a special nephew and caregiver, Thomas ‘Tom’ Link and his wife, Emilie of Abbeville, SC and a niece, Janet Marie Baker and her husband Kevin of Social Circle, GA; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 3:00PM to 4:00PM at Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin on Saturday at 4:00PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dr. Joel Bradberry officiating. Burial will follow in Long Cane Cemetery.

The family expresses their sincere appreciation for the love, care and support over the years to Lakelands Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and to Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont.
