Andrea Stone Taylor

Andrea Stone Taylor, 48, of Greenwood, died Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the Hospice House in Greenwood. She was born in Greenwood to Andy Stone and the late Sheila Jane Bobo Stone.

A graduate of Abbeville High School, class of 1995, Andrea furthered her education with a degree from Lander University in 2001. Her professional life was centered around her work with the Greenwood County School District 50, where she served as a teacher for 14 years. Andrea found immense joy in spending time with her girls. She adored them deeply and cherished every moment shared. Andrea also found joy in simpler pleasures – especially playing board games and cards, moments that brought laughter and connection with her friends and family. She attended South Greenwood Pentecostal Holiness Church for many years.

In addition to her mother, Andrea was preceded in death by her brother, Jeff Stone.

She is survived by her children, Kate Taylor, Alivia Taylor and Caroline Taylor; her father, Andy Stone (Judy), all of Abbeville; sister-in-law, Heather Stone; father of her children, Stephen Taylor; niece and nephew, Lydia Stone and Luke Stone; and several uncles, aunts, friends and extended family.

The family will receive friends 1:00PM – 2:30PM, Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Abbeville First Baptist Church Christian Life Center, 111 Ellis Ave., Abbeville, SC. Funeral services will begin at 3:00PM in the Christian Life Center with Rev. Mike McMinn officiating. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery
