Amy Lou Bagwell Johnson

Amy Lou Bagwell Johnson, 70, of 869 Old Abbeville Road died Monday, Aug. 23, 2004, at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood.

Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late William "Thelma" Bagwell and Essie Anglin Brown. She was a former textile employee and clerical secretary for many years. She was the current site manager for the Calhoun Falls Senior Citizens site. She was a member of Gilgal United Methodist Church.

Surviving are widower, Gerald Roger Johnson of the home; son, Johnny Johnson of the home; daughter, Karen Hicks of Greenwood; sisters, Janie Bagwell Roberson of Elwood, Ind., Lee B. Keller of West Lafayette, Ind., and Ann Brown Pope of Coeburn, Va.; brother, Press ?Buster? Brown of Lafayette; and five grandchildren.

Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at The Chandler-Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Abbeville; burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
