Stanley Nathaniel ‘Nathan’ Stein, 74, husband of Joy Violette Wolf, of Due West died Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at his home. He was born in New York, NY to the late Sidney Arthur Stein and Gussie Rose Green Stein.
Mr. Stein honorably served his country in the United States Army. He graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) receiving his Engineering degree. As an employee of Eastman Kodak for over 30 years, Mr. Stein was instrumental in the research and development area of their photography division. After retirement, he obtained his certification as a hypnotherapist. Being passionate about his work, helping others became most rewarding to him. Mr. Stein, an enthusiastic photographer, was especially proficient in capturing nature scenes. His caring personality and keen sense of humor were endearing to many.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Bernice Stein and Marilyn Gibbons.
Mr. Stein is survived by his wife of 18 years, Joy; children, Joy Elizabeth Dore of Pittsburg, PA, Jason Stein of Spencerport, NY, Valerie Anne Parrent and her husband, Jerry, of Fort Mill, SC and Adam Wolf of Columbus, OH; a sister, Harriet Mizrahi of West Palm Beach, FL; and eight grandchildren.
